Hooray! The big day is finally here for Jana and I. Our first baby, Jillyenne, is being born today. I am extremely anxious and proud. Jana is handling everything great so far. I was not planning on writing a blog but due to Rush IT department *!@**%$! blocking all social media sites I am familiar with except this one I had to go to back up plan d. Here is the picture of our room when we first came in. Jana is now in the bed with all of the attachments on. The staff at Rush has been exceptional except for the IT department. (I guess I should say it could be administration or some other department telling the IT department to block it) I do appreciate the general Internet access though in this situation I really ONLY wanted it to keep family and friends across our country posted so I find it asinine for the maternity ward to be blocked from social media sites. I will add more pictures and videos so keep in touch...

I'm so excited for you guys! I hope things go smoothly. It's pretty gay that they block other social media websites though.
ReplyDeleteThe staff on the maternity ward are absolutely great! I was very pleased with them when I was there. The women in the nursery are just as awesome. Lactation consultant? Not so much. I wasn't a fan. Haha.
